Look at Jesus! Lion from the tribe of Judah, yet He came in His first Advent as a Lamb of God to be slain. He came with two-fold mission: To reveal God's character to us in order to restore God's character in us! Big principle of this training is based on the fact that the RESTORATION depends on REVELATION, continual fresh supply of daily revelation of who God really is.

Welcome in this profound character building studies turned into practical training for your personal growth. We are born selfish and cause lots of suffering to ourselves and those around us, but we don't have to remain as such as long as we are willing to acknowledge it and learn how to be changed.

Part I. of this training includes 18 lessons, where we lay down the foundation of our character building. We are all prone to try and "save ourselves" by our works, yet we need to realize what is provided for us, outside of ourselves, by our heavenly Father and Jesus Christ, our Saviour. Only then can we learn how to cooperate with God in the GREAT PLAN OF SALVATION. We must learn to first focus on the provisions God has made available in order that His glory can be restored in us.

This thought is a motto for our character building:

"Every act of life, however unimportant, has its influence in forming the character. A good character is more precious than worldly possessions, and the work of forming it is the noblest in which men can engage."

When you are with certain person, he can be very mean and so negative that you are happy to get out of his influence as soon as you can. Could it be that some people feel likewise around you? Hope not. Yet, to be honest, we all have character flaws and they are not small since there are about 50% of children being born to single mothers! We all long to have a happy family, but while we search for the best partner, how about learning to become the best partner ourselves as well?

This training is for you if you wish to

- improve your family relations, work environment, or you do not want to be affected by so many negative impression from all around you

- be free from your internal harassments, instability, or bad habits

- raise children who will have strong foundation for their personality development

- save a broken family

- find loving and growing relation with our heavenly Father and our Saviour Jesus Christ.

What will you need:

- willing to be consistent (ex: use your morning devotional time for this training)

- willing to seek applications from each lesson into your daily life

- openness to share with others what you are learning

- access to internet

- place where you can focus and be free from distractions

When to do this training? How long will it take?

Well, we all are so busy but can we call ourselves Christians if we don't spent at least an hour with our Saviour each day? Instead of pushing new activity into each day, why don't you simply use your early morning (or evening) worship time for your character building training? Each lesson is broken in two halves. You can watch for about 30 minutes the lesson and keep the quiz questions in front of you, they come in order as the lesson unfolds. So while you watch the lesson you can already search for the answers. Or to watch for 30 minutes and then answer the quiz, while the message is still fresh in your memory. Thus in less then hour you can be ready.

The whole training has 40 lessons. If you follow the above suggestion, each week in two mornings you can study the lesson and answer the quizzes. While you watch the lesson take notes and collect the best thoughts in simple bullet points. This will serve you for your Outline and as a source material for your sharing. If you decide to spend another morning in writing 3 short paragraphs with illustrations of the given lesson from your recent life and another morning for sending out some of the inspiring thoughts you have collected in your Outline to your friends - in one week you can cover the lesson and spare remaining mornings for your other studies. This way with your vacations or other interruptions, without any extra stress you can accomplish this training within one year. Of course, if you have more available time you can go much faster.

It would be well for us to spend a thoughtful hour each day in contemplation of the life of Christ. We should take it point by point, and let the imagination grasp each scene, especially the closing ones. As we thus dwell upon His great sacrifice for us, our confidence in Him will be more constant, our love will be quickened, and we shall be more deeply imbued with His spirit. If we would be saved at last, we must learn the lesson of penitence and humiliation at the foot of the cross. {83.4}

As we associate together, we may be a blessing to one another. If we are Christ’s, our sweetest thoughts will be of Him. We shall love to talk of Him; and as we speak to one another of His love, our hearts will be softened by divine influences. Beholding the beauty of His character, we shall be “changed into the same image from glory to glory.” 2 Corinthians 3:18. {The Desire of Ages, p. 83.5}

Your speaker is Pastor Stephen Wallace who ministered at Blue Mountain Academy before joining the staff of the Andrews University White Estate office. He was also a seminar speaker for American Cassette Ministries before launching his own Revival Seminar ministry worldwide. He traveled with this sought-after seminar around the globe for about 30 years, which is a clear sign of the quality of this seminar. He spent thousands of hours in developing it and progressively was adding new insights in this study of the most important work ever entrusted to us.

At the moment he is retired and continues his research outside of public view. We pray that soon he can come back to minister public again.

Pastor Wallace, a Seventh-day Adventist Minister, was a worldwide Revival Seminar presenter. After the speaker spent some years (more than 20 years ago) researching the principles of Christian character development and the nature of Christ, ten different theologians, including the director of Biblical Research Institute at the General Conference of Seventh-day Adventist Church, were asked for their response and these presentations were met with full approval. Since that time other current theologians have also agreed with the truth as presented from the Bible and Spirit of Prophecy. They included: Tom Blincoe, SDA Seminary Dean; Gordon Hyde, Biblical Research and Professor at Southern Adventist University; Leslie Hardinge, Seminarian; Emilio Knechtle, GC World Evangelist; and others most of whom are now retired or at rest in Jesus.

Here are a few of the personal recommendations and testimonies from those who heard him speak.

“I highly recommend Pastor Wallace as a revival speaker for our Seventh-day Adventist churches. His messages are deeply spiritual and are concerned with the heart and core of our Christian experience.” Robert W. Olson, Ellen White Estate

“Pastor Wallace has a way of teaching the Truth of the Gospel like it has never been taught before.” Pastor from Bermuda

“With great appreciation for the “deeper insights” and his faithfulness to Scripture and the Spirit of Prophecy.” Pastor from Baytown, TX

“Pastor Wallace’s ministry in our Conference is still being talked about. What a blessing and inspiration he was to our people!” President of Ontario, CN Conf.

“I hope you will make Steve’s presentations available to every conference across North America.” Greater New York Conference Ministerial Director

“Steve was referred to as being the highlight of our camp meeting experience this year,” President of the Gulf States Conference

“Never have I heard the plan of salvation and righteousness by faith presented in such a simple, yet beautiful and practical way.” Academy Bible Teacher

....................

Well, after basic presentation of your speaker, let me introduce myself as your character building coach:

I share with you my story to show where is my heavenly Father saving me from as a testimony of His goodness and grace. If He could deliver me from such gross darkness, change my life and bring meaning into it, He can do it for you too. I love this character building message, I myself need it so much and I believe it can bring life and guidance into your life as well.

I was born in Czechoslovakia and as a child I had a dream where Jesus raised His dying head on the cross and looked straight at me, kneeling below His cross. I clearly recognized this cross from the garden behind our Catholic church I used to attend. It made a deep impression on me. Yet as a teenager I landed in nude beaches and wasted precious years of my life. Through a chain of events I was invited to a Catholic youth meeting (secretly in a private home, due to communistic regime in my country) and it awakened in me a new desire for Jesus. My friends invited me to the church and towards the end of the Mass I heard these words:

And he said unto me: Write, Blessed are they which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb. And he said unto me: These are the true sayings of God. Revelation 19:9

It pricked my heart and my immediate response was: I want to be there too! My friends arranged a meeting with the priest; I had to confess all my years of a life in sin and another priest started to teach me to pray to Virgin Mary. Some years later, soon after I got married and communistic regime was broken, my first wife brought me to an older lady, named Tonka - she was running a vegetarian club and since we both became vegetarians through our yoga practice, my wife decided to attend the club. When we came for a visit, I noticed that she was a Christian, but obviously, she was not a Catholic. So I asked her about her religion. She said: "I am a Christian." "But what religion?" I asked. She said, "We go by the Bible." I said, "We also go by the Bible. Please, tell me where is the difference?" She said, "We go by Ten Commandments." I said, "We too! Where is the difference?" She said, "Well, can you read them to me?" I said, "I don't know where they are." So she opened Exodus, chapter 20 and let me read. To my surprise I read: "Remember the Sabbath day to keep it holy." I told Tonka, "Tomorrow I will ask the priest what that means!" Years later she told me that all night she didn't sleep, because she was praying for me. For some reason instead of going to the priest I was reasoning in my mind: "If it is in the Bible, I will accept it!" And the next Saturday instead of vacuuming and cleaning the house as we used to, we were sitting in the house and reading the Bible...

Time went by and our family was selected by the Seventh-day Adventist church leaders and Pastor Cleveland to fly to Wildwood Lifestyle Center in Georgia where I studied to become a medical missionary. Until today I am faithful to this calling.

Actually, I believe that the winning combination is: medical missionary work and character building. In the gospels we see that Christ spent more time healing than preaching.

Right after the training our family was invited to pioneer similar program in Country Life, Prague, Czech Republic. We spent there a beautiful 5 years living with our students and organizing health programs for the public. But our family crashed and we were divorced. If you have gone through anything like that, I can relate to you, it's a lifelong pain and our sons lost day-to-day contact with me, their father. Praise the LORD, we are in good terms but this gap no one can close!

Right after this tragedy I was called, again by Pastor Cleveland, to Romanian Herghelia Lifestyle Center to run the International Medical Missionary Training. Seven long years passed by and there she comes, a student from San Francisco - my Beloved! She was older than the average students and we were looking for a girls' dean. We asked her if she could accept, beside studying our Lifestyle Education Course, a position of girls dean - being a "mom" for our girls. She said, "Yes" and thus for one year we become "mom & dad" for our more than twenty students from different corners of the world. What a precious year it was! You can guess it - yes, we ended up marrying each other.

In our honeymoon we visited Pastor Stephen Wallace in Oregon where he was running Revival Seminars ministry. They had recently finished filming 40 lessons of the character building seminar, "From Glory to Glory" but they had lost their video editor. I offered to learn how to do it and they gave me an opportunity to study video editing with a brother at Amazing Facts. After the training we created DVDs for this seminar. Then we created the website, and later invited another sister, who transcribed the whole seminar. Meanwhile, inspired by our friend Bella, from Romania, we started to do subtitles in different languages and are continuing to expand on other languages. If you know someone who is willing to help in this effort, please contact us.

In January 2012 Revival Seminars was handed over to my wife and me.

Having experience as a director of two medical missionary schools, I realized the urgent need of this seminar to be put in a form of a training. This became my big dream and by God's grace today, after 8 long years later, we are able to offer it to you. I love to work one on one with people and this course is set up that way. I worked for many years with young people, I lived in the world of sin and can related to people coming from broken families, myself coming from one. There is no sin too dark God cannot forgive, no hopeless situation He cannot resolve. As much as God, our Abba Father, loves us, which He proved beyond the shadows of doubt by allowing Jesus to suffer condemnation in our place, He doesn't want us to remain in such a mess and does everything He can to pull us out of any ditch and keep us on the narrow way, leading to His home.

But God commends His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. ...For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of His Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by His life. Romans 5:8.10

Christ longs to dwell in our hearts, our thought processes, our family situations, and wants to give us purpose and sense of a meaningful life.

“The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, long-suffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance.” Galatians 5:22-23. This fruit can never perish, but will produce after its kind a harvest unto eternal life.

“When the fruit is brought forth, immediately He putts in the sickle, because the harvest is come.” Christ is waiting with longing desire for the manifestation of Himself in His church. When the character of Christ shall be perfectly reproduced in His people, then He will come to claim them as His own.

It is the privilege of every Christian not only to look for but to hasten the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. 2 Peter 3:12. Were all who profess His name bearing fruit to His glory, how quickly the whole world would be sown with the seed of the gospel. Quickly the last great harvest would be ripened, and Christ would come to gather the precious grain. {COL 68.1 - 69.2}

You can sometimes hear people making strong appeals and exposing a "beast" in the Vatican or some governments or other "sources of all evil." But I say that the very same evil, beast of selfishness, is inside of each one of us! The only difference is whether this beast is crucified daily with Christ or whether we only pretend to be good outside, while our closest family knows full well how it really is with us and is suffering a hidden abuse from us. This training wants to give us practical experience, how we can regain self-mastery we lost with Adam in Paradise, and to be strong to overcome any evil impulses bubbling in our minds and hearts.

I am with you in this journey and want to provide feedback to you as we go together through your progress in this training and keep encouraging you in your battles. During this journey we can become eternal friends and rejoice together seeing how Christ can use us, the broken vessels of clay, and through our lives touch someone else and bring hope and order into their lives. Join me in this journey called the "school of Christ."

Here are the reviews of some people who know me or who were my students:

I have known Ludo for over 20 years now and I can only say positive things about him. Above all he is very friendly, honest, sensitive and understanding. He loves to teach others and has already gained a lot of experience in teaching. I can highly recommend him from experience as a person. In his hands you are certainly in good hands! Manuela

Ludo and I worked together for about two years beginning in 2008. Ludo loves God with all his heart, soul, and might. He takes Christian character building seriously. If you want to become more like Jesus the Messiah, I recommend Ludo as a teacher, mentor, and coach. L

Ludo and I meet a year ago at my graduation from Herghelia Mission School in Romania. He came as a minuteman, when he accepted the position as the director of the school. He leads with a compassionate heart; yet with appropriate firm discipline he is able to maintain good order. When important decisions are to be made, he is upfront and is as true as the needle to the pole; he is one whose personal and special interests are swallowed up,...in the one great general interest for the eternal destiny of souls.
If you have the privilege to be under the tutelage of Ludo; consider it an honor and yourself to be in a very fortunate class.
Blessings, Dr. Phyll K康
